Currently, 100-150 people worship on Sunday morning, and during the week combined attendance at worship, children’s ministries, small groups, and other activities reaches about 200.
We continues to be characterized by lively worship, a solid children’s program, active youth work, thriving opportunities for ministry, discipleship and fellowship.
We even offer specialized ministries serving both men and women, and outreach activities that impact people for the Gospel.
During the 1980’s several Star Valley residents were encouraged by Jim Clark, the Pastor of the Jackson Hole Baptist Church, to prayerfully plan a new church in Alpine, a town of about 200 people on the north end of Star Valley. Incorporated in late 1990, the church would be affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and has been blessed to be debt-free from the beginning.
In 1993, a hearty group of Southerners traveled north and provided much of the labor that built the attractive building that sits near the confluence of the Snake River and the Greys River.
